Space used question

I just was poking around the code and I have a question.  I've always thought that the data used for the space used figures was cached in some way but it looks like the figures are calculated live.

Am I missing something yet again?

functions: get_dirsize and where ever the display data function is.

A quick check of all the places that the function is called shows no signs of caching.

yeah, I'd say it's calculated live and needs a fixin'.
