Why not if I may ask?  Is it because it's a beta still?  Already have the features?  Too busy playing Spore?  Just curious.

Because it's massively huge and causes a lot of overhead?

Actually, it's only suitable for one of my in-perpetual-development sites that hasn't even launched yet. But see above reasons. Ron and I have worked with it, and feel that many of the features can be done more efficiently. Also, there's quite a bit of it that is not needed in all applications, depending. I know near the end, new features were being tossed in left and right. Not all were good for having in the core.

*shrug* Just curious.  Haven't looked at any code for about 6 weeks.

Did they ever work in forums for the individual blogs?  I know and see forums for groups.  ust wondering about the individual blogs.

Thanks,

It causes serious overhead on your site!    It is definitely will need a release, some optimization and a DB solution from incsub before you would want to launch this on anything other than a small site for now.   It is ok on my family install with some great stuff, but can't imagine this with thousands of blogs and users.   Forums are currently only for groups, but can be accessed through either buddypress or through the bbPress side.   Coming along nicely, but I am sure most will wait for a release.

Thanks for the reply.

Is that's where it's headed?  Granted we have solutions in place that fill most of what buddypress offers but Groups is something that's missing for us.
