Hey all, new here Smiley I run talkdelaware.com a vB forum and talkdelaware.com/blogs is a MU install

i get instructions on plugins that say add so and so file to the "/wp-content/mu-plugins" directory and I do it as instructed and they dont show in the menu in WP admin panel. If i add them to "/wp-content/plugins" though, they do. most plugins work for me on my wpmu install by adding to the plugins dir

i tried to install the whoseesads mod that's was tweaked by farms to work with his 100 big ones theme pack and if i upload to "mu-plugins" it wont show in admin panel, if i up to "plugins" it shows in admin panel and throws a error when i activate it

it has to be something dumb im doing, any help?

TIA,
Caddy

(i asked on prem wpmudev and was directed here)

If you were looking for the plugin to show up under the "Plugins" menu, it won't if it's placed in the mu-plugins directory.

Basic MU right there.

Yes Luke, i know it's basic, as i said on premium site i am new to MU and it is far different then what i know (vBulletin) so i am probably going to have some simple questions.

Thank you,
Caddy
