Anarchy Media Player Buttons Missing Since 1.5RC 1 and 1.5.1 Upgrade

Hi folks,

I have posted in the AMP forums and in the standard MU forums, but so far, no one has been able to fix this issue. I'm desperately trying to get the AMP buttons to show in the Visual Editor since they disappeared after the MU 1.5 RC1 and are still missing since the MU 1.5.1 upgrade.

I know that others are experiencing the same issue and I wonder if anyone here can offer some advice on things I might try to get these AMP buttons back in the Visual Editor.

You are using the mu version of the player, right?

Anything in the error logs?

I know that every other media player that was upgraded is pretty much "rewritten" because the versions of tiny MCE and other parts.    I am not sure if Zeug has been around much either, so who knows.   Viper mentioned he almost "started over" to get his video plugin working, so it seems like it would be some work getting it working.

Yep, using the Mu install of Anarchy Media Player 2.0.

Nothing in the error logs that reference Anarchy.

Yeah, from searching, that seems to be the general consensus concerning plugins that add buttons to the visual editor. I'm sure Zeug is a busy person, so I will continue my search in the hopes that someone has found a fix or that I can find some things to try on my own at least.

I am holding out hope that this plugin will be updated for the new MU as the site I've been building is being designed for media creators and from my experience, Anarchy Media Player is the most full-featured media player plugin there is.

Just wanted to make sure that you were.  We don't use it on any of our installs so I'm afraid I can't help you.  It does appear that anything affecting the editor needs to be upgraded though.  Hopefully the author will notice this.

I'm assuming you've also checked the regular wp.org forums, right?  I'd do it myself for you but I'm on my locked down terminal and can only access a single browser pane at a time and don't have cut and paste here.

Yeah, it looks like I'll have to find another solution for video and audio for now I have posted to the AMP forums also and it seems there are quite a few having problems since the 2.5 upgrade.

There has been some communication from Zeug regarding his plugin. He's just been busy, and may be updating. Read more here:
