Not to throw a pail of water on this or anything but I've yet to see anything that specifically states that BuddyPress is going to be brought into wpmu.  I've seen mention of Automattic and wp.com but not specifically wpmu.

I'm trying to figure out what social features MT has myself.

By the why, chickspeak is broken.  Try to bring up any of the members' subdomains, and you get a CPanel screen.

Wank reminded me where the profile pages are as well.  Note that those are currently broken on wp.com as well as they're showing some deleted blogs and not showing a currently blog under that account.
