Okay, me again  with another weird issue. Reported today, when someone uploads a pic, it spins away and then disappears. I mean it stops and leave a blank white space.  I checked on 3 different accounts.

Nothing in the error logs, none of them anywhere.

I have not touched the code in weeks. File size is medium. A small icon went up fine.

I searched the forum, but does this sound familiar to anyone?

At the very least, how can I get whatever error message to show so I can hunt it down and squash it?

What becomes blank?  The iframe or something else?

Works fine for me in 1137

Well, that didn't help...   Undecided

Still nothing in the error logs. Between this and Flickr acting up with the post bar plugin , I have some unhappy users unable to upload or easily paste in pics.

It's all working for me just fine. Wink

Not that that helps or anything, but at least you know it "can" work. Cheesy

Tongue

Just to throw in a loop, I can upload small pics like icons. I haven't changed anything on my server or in the code, so god knows what my hosts did. (It seems like every backups there's a list of issues I have to remind them to fix. I'd like to think that maybe it's just the box I'm on.)

It's just another one of those "suddenly it doesn't work" things. (which I know you LOVE)

Now, refresh my memory as to where I'd look for a file upload limit, and cross your fingers it doesn't take ten whole minutes for the page to load like it's been doing half the time today.  Angry

Php.ini.

Don't forget to double check post max size as well.

Damn, you know what? It's so nice out I think I'll hop on the ATV for a while. Cheesy

You're just saying that cuz you read my blog.  Tongue

eta:
php.ini - post max size is 8megs, upload size is 2 megs, in MU the file size is maxed at 1.5 megs.

The file in question? 63k.

son of edit:
the file is actually getting uploaded! well that was nice to see. It just dies when it is supposed to come back and display it.

I got it once to kick out the actual error.  I'm trying to remember how I did it.

Andrea, are you sure you got that fix in there right?

What version are you running?  I can see if I can install it again and see what I get.
