Is there any reason to keep index-install.php around or should I just delete it?

Was wondering the same thing. I lean towards ditching it. Wasn't it Root who had a problem once where someone was able to run that file?

Beats me. I've been leaving it, and with the new hooks in place (or back in place if you prefer) why bother with it at all.

Been updated like 20 times within the last month.  That's why i was wondering if there was a need for it.

What's the on-time-use install thingy have to do with feeds?  Undecided

Oh hell.  I thought we were talking about index-extra...

Guess I'm a little more loopy than I thought. lol

In that case, retract everything I've said, and dump it after install. lol

Is okay, we're all playing pass-the-cold-back-and-forth here.

Not me.  I'm a pillar of health. Smiley

I really don't get sick except for about once a year.  Scared Angie first time she went through it.  104 temp for like 3 days.  Didn't bother me though.  Just ate a lot of icecream and stayed home.  Probably has something to do with my thyroid.  I do have the sniffles a lot though since that's probably managed by the thyoid.

By the way, I was talking about the trunk/index-install.php file, not the wp-admin/index-helper.php one as noted up above.  Our index-helper.php is been very changed.  Keeping that one.
