it seems it is impossible to remove rights previously given to a user in WPMU ?? is there an reason why ?

yes, but why not just remove them ? looking at the code it seems the "remove" is in fact actually deleting the user, instead of deleting the rights, so that's probably why.

Could be the case, as you wouldn't want a user deleted form the system, just from the list of users for a particular blog.

Maybe that's one of those... "I'll fix that later" kind of things, and a temporary deal was put in place.

Really, without looking, it's pretty much just clearing out some meta data to drop someone from a single blog.

Of course you can do it under site admin, but that doesn't help the individual blog admin out much.

i think this is so that blog admins can't remove accounts, not site admins.  can't test though.  mall kiosk
