Sure, in an ideal world we'd like to be releasing all of this for free, but an *enormous* amount of time has gone into developing it and we'd like to get a system going whereby we can actually support ourselves (and eventually others?) in providing an equal amount of ongoing development and support... while being able to afford to eat.

Pretty much says it all.

MU Advanced is an unofficial forum for discussion of WordPress MU.

This site/forum is the reflection of its user(s), and not an official support channel for WordPress MU.

WordPress, WordPress MU, bbPress, Akismet, and other terms are used as descriptive only, and are registered trademarks of Automattic, Inc.

Etc, etc, etc.

Why we're here...

There are those of us out there that simply need a place to have an advanced discussion about MU, and things related to it. A place where we can hash out issues, discuss solutions, and not have to worry about repercussions or being asked about how to change a link color.

Also, there are some of us that need to bounce advanced ideas off of other advanced users that we may not feel comfortable with sharing with the public at large. Not that they, or we, don't like you, but sometimes we want to do something special for ourselves and don't want 100 requests for the code.

Registration is open to anyone. Spammers will be banned, and we reserve the right to disable an account for any reason at any time. This is not a support forum for MU, they already have one.

We politely ask that you register with the same username as you use on the official forums. While you may change your displayed name, we would at least like the capability to somehow distinguish whom is whom, and be able to know that userA over there is also userA over here. It simply makes it easier and more personable.

All that being said, here we go.
